This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from Mexican cocobolo. The cocobolo will darken to a more burnt orange color with time as it oxidizes.

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
