This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is madd from kingwood, which is a rosewood 

Suited for a 165-180mm Santoku or other Japanese knife.

Weight : 53g Length 126.4 mm   (5 “)

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
