This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from ringed gidgee from Australia and a dyed quilted maple

Suited for a 165-210 mm  Japanese knife.

Weight 55g    Length 129 mm (5 1/8”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of Tru-Oil.

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
