This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from a dyed box elder

Suited for a 99-135 mm petty knife. Will work on some 150mm petty knives. 

Weight 27 g Length 115 mm   (4 1/2”)

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
