This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.
The body is made from a masterclass dyed and stabilized black ask burl with resin ferrule and end cap
Suited for a 240 -270 Japanese knife. This handle has some weight to it running a 10 grams heavier than other stabilized handles this size. This one was difficult for me to sell, it’s really beautiful
Weight 64g Length 139.5 mm (5.5”)
Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of Tru-Oil.
Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
