This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from double dyed box elder with a really cool patter 

Medium - it is suited for a 240mm gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Weight 53g Length 140mm  (5 1/2”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of Tru-Oil.

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
