This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from Ceylon Satinwood with a Honduran Rosewood ferrule 

This is real satinwood,  Chloroxylon swieteni, not the imitation satinwood that is used in 99% of knife handles. 

Suited for a 165-210mm gyuto or other Japanese knife.

Weight: 41g Length: 131 mm   (5 1/8”)

Handle is sealed and buffed to natural luster 

Use and care - Hand wash and dry - Never put in dishwasher nor leave in hot soapy water.
